Hi,

Were you able to get the NVMe working on your X1 Carbon?

I have the same problem.

Thanks

Hi wxwork,

I decided to go for an older SSD to avoid any risk. So unfortunately I cannot tell you but I still would like to know whether it really works.

best regards

Artur

You went with another AHCI? What storage capacity did you go with? I am trying to find something large like a 2TB.

Same problem here and I am wondering if BIOS updates enabled NVMe support. Crucial guarantees their P5 500GB PCIe M.2 2280SS SSD (NVMe) is compatible. I may ask them to confirm this is not a mistake, but others may be able to confirm X1 Carbon 3rd Gen supports NVMe now.
