Hello everyone, today I received my X1 carbon 6th gen. Upon setup, I couldn't complete the fingerprint scan and received the message that the device has disconnected. After the initial setup, I tried to complete the fingerprint scan again, but I only got the same message that the scanner was disconnected. I looked around online and found some forum posts about the uninstalling drivers and installing new ones. I followed all the information I found but to no luck. Maybe I was looking at the wrong drivers online or something. Any help is greatly appreciated!

The exact same problem is happening with my device. After all the installing of all the drivers, now the Fingerprint sensor in the device manager says "this device cannot start code 10". I uninstalled and reinstalled all the drivers, and the BIOS, and turned the sensor on in the BIOS, and still no movement.
Did you manage to fix it?
