Newly arrival X1C won't boot, but flashing ESC+F1+F4

I received my new X1C Gen 12 which purchased fropm Lenovo online store. Upon unboxing, the battery was exhusted. It worked a while after bettery charged.

However, soon it no longer to boot again. After pressing the power button, the ESC+F1+F4 light on then go off immediately, the X1C just stopped here and no longer to conitnue the boot process, LCD was also blank all the time.  Tried may way to reset it and power off and power on again, nothing worked.

The newly arrival X1C gen12 still didn't work.

Any idea?

Re:Newly arrival X1C won't boot, but flashing ESC+F1+F4

Did ESC+F1+F4 flash once and go out, or do they continue to flash?  If they keep flashing it's doing memory retraining.  That can take several minutes.

Re:Newly arrival X1C won't boot, but flashing ESC+F1+F4

Thanks for asking. My case is ESC+F1+F4 flash once and go out.

Only the power button is still on, all keyboard keys are off. Screen LED is off (no backlight), no sound from internal FAN. It just stopped and no more continue to boot.

* By the way, the battery is fully charged, and the issue persist even external power source is plugged. Seems not related with power.

Re:Newly arrival X1C won't boot, but flashing ESC+F1+F4

Hi Saintus,

I'm sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing with your new X1C Gen 12. Since the ESC+F1+F4 lights flash once and go out, and the laptop doesn't continue to boot, it seems like a hardware issue.

I recommend you contact our technical support for further assistance. You can submit a service request for technical support here. Alternatively, you can also find a local authorized service center to perform maintenance or repair here.

Best regards,
