Problem with Warranty

[ Edited ]

I have active warranty on my ThinkPad X1 which I purchased last year.

here is details:

Product ID: 129126U
Type-Model::
 1291-26U
Serial number:
**********
Location:
 USA

Expiration date: 2014-08-02

Warranty: 3EZ

Yesterday when I wokring on my office my friend accidently poured a bit water on my keyboad. I've cleaned it and check the keyboard, and it was seems to work OK. But today I've noticed that two of its keys don't work. Is it possible to get a new keyboard directly from lenovo with my warranty? I even try to it in local store to purchase I couldn't find keyboard for my X1.

I can't find any email address of lenovo warranty service so I can contact with them.

Please help to fougure out what I should do.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Problem with Warranty

Unless your warranty covers for accidental damage, then water damages are not covered under warranty.

Re: Problem with Warranty

I go to this page,

http://www-304.ibm.com/shop/americas/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/default/PromotionDisplay?promoName=pa...

Then user FRU number ( 04W0980 ) of my keyboard which I've found here

http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/product-and-parts/detail.page?DocID=PD014549

And I got this error message
The part number you have entered is either incorrect or cannot be found. Please re-enter the number, or enter another number and try again.
