Hope someone here can help me.
I have a X1 Carbon 6th generation - but when trying to search for system updates using Lenovo Advantage, the search fails at about 96% presenting the following error message.
This error message also pops up out of the blue from time to time without any logical reason.
I have tried changing ownership of the file, removing write protection, restarting, rebooting, you name it.
The IT department has done god knows what to get rid of this error message, but it keeps turning up again and again.
Has anyone got any solution to this annoying problem?
If so I would be so thankful

First of all thanks for your reply, although I'm not sure I follow you...
Not sure what HP has to do with the case...
I'm using Lenovo Vantage system update - this is what failes every time at 96%
I don't have a HP printer either, only a samsung...so not sure about the link you posted....
