I have 3 company X250's, i know they have a 16GB mSATA SSD. I throw in some new 256GB SSD's to replaced the standard HHD. Is the only way to reimage those new SSD's to take out the 16GB mSATA SSD so that they wont fail? I was getting this error every time i tried "system_thread_exception_not_handled(ndis.sys)". Is there a way to disable that drive temporally in the BIOS?

As far as I can tell, there are no options for 2nd drive in X250. Are you sure about the model?

My X250 had two M.2 slots in it. I believe the one containing the 802.11ac WLAN card is an M.2 2230 slot. It was populated with the wireless card when I received mine, and I have not removed the card from it. It is certainly smaller than the other slot, which is an M.2 2242 slot. Normally, a 4G/LTE WWAN card would be installed in the M.2 2242 slot, but it was empty so I installed a 256GB M.2 SSD in mine.
The X250 does not have an mSATA slot, though. The last in this X-series to do so was the X230. Beginning with the X240, the MiniPCIe slots were replaced with M.2 slots.
The NDIS.SYS driver is used by Windows for networking; I'm unsure of why it would cause an error when installing Windows, but if you are not going to use the 16GB M.2 SSD card in any of the X250s, it probably makes sense to remove them.
