Replace keyboard (change language layout) on 3rd gen X1 Carbon?

I'm replacing my work laptop (a 3rd gen X1 Carbon), and plan to give it away. It has a Scandinavian layout, but I'd like to change it to a Russian layout. I could buy keyboard stickers, and maybe that's the best option, but I'd still want to know if it's possible to replace the keyboard, and if so, how to go about it and what cost I can expect?

Hi Gustafl! You can check the compatible keyboards here: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/partslookup. Provide the exact model or the serial number. The part number of the keyboard can be found there. If you're in Sweden, you can reach out from this number: +46 8 793 34 00 and provide the part number. Alternatively, you can inquire from our authorized repair centers. You can find the list here: https://support.lenovo.com/in/en/solutions/ht118678. Filter the country and choose the nearest outlet base on your location. Hope that helps.

Changing the keyboard requires complete disassembly.  You need to remove the bottom cover and start removing parts.  When you remove everything, the piece remaining is the keyboard.  If you do this, take a lot of pictures showing how the antenna wires are run above and below the motherboard.
