Restore to factory settings, no disc

I recently purchased a laptop from a yard sale, it is a lenovo thinkpad x120e. It currently runs windows 7, but it still has a domain and admin password linked to it. I was able to log on to windows because the person gave us the password for that, but now I see we r unable to download things, access certain parts of the computer, and open certain types of files without an administrator password. How can I reformat this to allow be to start it at factory settings, without a disc and access to those passwords?

Re: Restore to factory settings, no disc

hey Bharris1,

i recommend that you get back to the person who sold you the unit to remove all the passwords.

then use the Rescue & Recovery software to make a recovery disc.

or call our support team via -

do note that charges will apply for obtaining a recovery disc.
