Samsung CHG90 and X1 Carbon

2017-12-09, 19:23 PM

Hello all,

I just got a new samsung chg90 monitor and I've been trying to set it up with my Lenovo X1 with Windows 10 pro.  I can't seem to get the full resolution 3840x1080, I can only get 2560x1080 (or 2560x1440).  I've tried installing the samsung drivers for the monitor but it doesn't seem to work.  Is there a limitation on the integrated graphics card?

I figured it out.  I was duplicating displays instead of extending so I couldn't get the max resolution on my monitor. It still doesn't look great with 3840x2160, but it's more usable.

Last update - I changed it to 3840x1080 and scaled full screen. It's great now!
