Hello, I appologize for the vague language, I am a computer novice. I have tried to trouble shoot this issue with no luck. After unplugging my ThinkPad from an HP monitor last night (which was working normally yesterday) the ThinkPad is now no longer detecting the external monitor. I have plugged the monitor into a different ThinkPad and it picked it up fine, so the monitor and HDMI cord are working. I updated the device driver in the display adapters, rebooted the computer and unplugged and replugged the HDMI connector several times to no avail.
I believe the system made updates to Windows 10 yesterday. Not sure if that's the cause or not.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there a solution?
