I have a x1 Carbon. THe lte works perfectly fine in USA. When traveling overseas, the card cannot connect to a local ISP and always says enter APN. I've called verizon and they have assured me that i have the right apn, vwzinternet and that my account is provisioned for international use. DOes anyone know if there is a setting in the properties of the card that i'm missing? I do have the latest driver.

I'm entering the APN designated to the local network i'm connecting to (TW MOBILE) and it still says enter APN. I'm thinking my lte device isn't communicating properly with the network.

Usually you leave the APN of your home network configured when roaming.
It's worth contacting your home network operator to see if they can throw any light onto what is happening. You wouldn't be the first person who discovered their SIM wasn't correctly provisioned for roaming in the home network's HLR. That said, there are a myriad of other things that might have gone wrong. Your home network should be able to liaise with the network you are trying to roam on if the problem is outside your home network's servers.

My X1 tablet equipped with EM7455. It's working fine in Hong Kong, Singapore and Shanghai (China). I tried out the SIM card from local operators (China Unicom, HKT). Both hardware & driver are running well on Windows 10. Please check out your operator.
