Changing, removing or updating the Night Light setting on Windows 10 didn't rectify the issue. I even manually changed the times to rule any instances of night light going on (even though it was also disabled) and the orange snip still occurred. I found the solution of disabling Eye Care in Vantage as the only "fix"

Same issue here. Apart from adjusting the colour temperature to the unhealthy maximum, there seems to be no way in getting rid of the orange tint. (yes, I tried Control Panel monitor default setting, Colour Management Night Light setting, Lenovo Vantage colour temperature reset and many more on Youtube, nothing works). Lenovo needs to come up a fix ASAP. I am in design business and needing screen shot, snipping tools on daily basis. I am boardering in getting rid of this PC and perhaps, avoiding buying this brand altogether.

Re: Snipping Tool Has Orange Tint Now

I noticed this issue too. I normally run f.lux (Free program, that does the same thing as eye care mode and has been around for a long time.). I originally thought that the tinted screen shots were being caused by f.lux or greenshot (Free screen capture program. It's like snipping tool on crack.), but after doing some digging, and finding this thread, I realized it was the ThinkVantage eye care mode. even though it was set to off, was causing the issue, so I enabled eye care mode, set the slider to 6500k, disabled eye are mode, then I reinstalled f.lux, and greenshot and my problem was resolved.

I can once again take screen shots, without the orange / red tint.

Hope that helps!

EDIT: Changed wording, for clarification.

Is there a way to prevent auto-update of lenovo applications? It should prompt us to allow the updates then we will be aware of which updates caused this problem.

One option is to uninstall Vantage. There is no orange tint problem with Vantage removed.

USB-C: Just cos it fits don't mean it works.
I don't work for Lenovo. I'm a crazy volunteer!

Thanks bro.

I had the same issue on my Lenovo Legion Y720.

Last week screenshot was working fine. But this week it became yellow.

Solved by reseting the Eye Care Mode on Lenovo Vantage.

I just went into the app settings for Lenovo Vantage and hit RESET. Since I had never used Vantage before I thought I should have the default settings. It worked. No orange tint!  In the Windows 10 search bar, bottom left, type lenovo. Lenovo Vantage is the first hit on my machine so it is selected. In the right half of the window, look for "app settings."  Open that and you'll see a list of Specifications. Scroll down about one whole page and you'll find the reset option.

Page 2 of this thread--I just entered another solution. Hit RESET in the apps settings for Lenovo Vantage.

Sorry--I was trying to make this show up higher in the thread but failed. Hope you guys find it.
