Re: Spotty scrolling with trackpoint? (X250)

2015-08-17, 6:23 AM

Samething here.

I have been keeping an eye on this discussion since I got my X250 in May.

3 months have passed by, seems like Lenovo did very little thing to address the problem. Spotty scroll remains in MS Office and PDF. Could anyboby report this to Lenovo to save the trackpoint from being annoying.

I think it needs a lot of ppl to report to this forum before anybody at Lenvoo gets interested. Shame Lenovo is taking this approach to this matter, because trackpoint this is THE ONLY thing I buy Lenovos. Maby the number of trackpoint users is so small nowdays, that it doesnt matter to Lenovo any more.

Hi Amy,

I just upgraded the latest driver  downloaded from your link, and it solved the "jump" in many vertical scrolling situations like web browsing, Excel, etc. Yet the bug still exists in all "horizontal scrolling" situations--especially when using Excel--and  some of vertical scrolling (ex: reading a PDF), can you help us?

Thank you!!
