Re: ThinkPad X1 Carbon 20A7 and WWAN (GOBI 5000) note detected

Also, have a look at the system events log for the events regarding the new items/ports appearing.

x220 • Gobi 2000 3g | hdd, msata ssd, wwan, wifi, gps -- unique hand-made config
ThinkPad 25 Special Anniversary Edition. #retro. Signed by D.Hill
T470p | X1 Carbon Gen3 | Miix 2 10" | Yoga Tablet 2-1050F (Android) + BT Keyboard
ThinkPad Stack • 2.4/5 Wireless Router, HDD 1 TB, BT Speaker, Power Bank, Mobile Projector

Do it well, worse becomes itself

Re: ThinkPad X1 Carbon 20A7 and WWAN (GOBI 5000) note detected

I've already tried the physical uninstall and reinstall of the wwan card. I
thought it had fixed it for a couple days but then it started adding more
adapters. I can't figure out what changed to make it do that again.

I've just reset the computer again so it looks correct: only one adapter.
When it starts adding them again, I will look at the system event logs as
you suggest.

Thanks again.
