@iron77 16GB RAM seems to be baked in. Out of curiousity, what would you use 32GB for?

Yeah, I'm suspecting it is soldered, but plans to include it in X390 (where it's soldered as well) made me think that X1C7 could also have that option..
I personally need it for generally running lots of things at the same time. Currently, I'm using 10GB out of 16GB with about 20 tabs opened in each Chrome and Firefox. For that itself 16GB might be enough, but quite often I need to run a VM or two and once that happens, the irritation starts, I need to close down things, make sure RAM is there etc. Every once in a while I may also run Illustrator or Photoshop when other things are open and again 16GB is usually on the edge in that time.
It would be nice to have some comfort with this finally in 2019, even in small laptops .

I'm curious about the keyboard - I presume it's identical to the X1C6, given that the quality of the keyboard is one of the defining features of the ThinkPad? I've been waiting for the X1C7 in order to replace my (terrible) Macbook Pro!
