ThinkPad X1 Yoga (2nd Gen) - Audio

Hi, i am using my X1 Yoga for 2 month, no Audi form the built in speakers but when i connect the Headphone to the headphone jack i can hear the sound but when i remove them no Audio from the built in speakers.

i Tried many times to update and reinstal the driver with no luck.

any suggestions?

If you were able to update/reinstall the driver, then I assume there are no issues with the Speakers indicated in Device Manager.  This is probably a long shot...  But, one thing you can check is the Speaker settings on the Playback devices properties.  You find this by right-clicking on the speaker in the System Tray and select Playback devices.  All of my playback devices are shown here and I have a green checkmark on the internal speakers which is labeled "Speakers / Headphones (Conexant SmartAudio HD Default Device".  Try checking the settings in here.


Otherwise, you might have a hardware issue with your speakers.
