ThinkPad X1 Yoga (3rd Gen) - USB 3.0 Dock issue

Hi,

I'm using a ThinkPad X1 Yoga 3rd generation in conjunction with a ThikPad USB 3.0 Dock (DU9019D1). 

 

Since about two weeks the Notebook refuses to connect properly to the Dock about 90% of the time. When connected to the dock the screen turns on and off repeatingly until I remove the dock. The screens attached to the dock do not show any connected source. All other features of the dock work as intended. Updating my drivers didn't turned out to have any effect. Furthermore I am using a seccond DU9019D1 Dock which shows the same behavior.

 

The ThinkPad is running the latest Windows 10 build. Doese anyone here have an idea on how to fix this issue?

Sounds like it may be related to an issue reported in DisplayLink forums (DisplayLink is the technology in the USB 3.0 dock) -> https://www.displaylink.org/forum/showthread.php?t=66266

 

Looks like updating the driver for the internal Intel graphics adapter to the latest version from Intel may help...
