If your laptop model isn't CTO follow the link below and type in Machine-Type-Model (MTM) within Quick Path field:

If short description of your laptop specification includes "WWAN" statement wwan card SHOULD be factory preinstalled. "WWAN option" isn't the same, it means laptop is WWAN ready, i.e.has built in wwan antennas and sim card holder only, but not the card itself.

Type in your laptop serial number and find out WWAN card model if it was preinstalled into your laptop. You might find out something like the strings below depending of your area:
04W3785 - Gobi3000
04W3786 - H5321gw
04W3788 - MC7700
04W3791 - MC7750
04W3792 - MC7700
04W3821 - Sierra MC7710
60Y3257 - Gobi3 WWAN
60Y3267 - F5521 Mal
60Y3297 - H5321w
These are Lenovo approved wwan cards p/ns (FRU) for x230 and their short descriptions
Post here your results, we'll see what to do further.

As you see neither wwan card doesn't persist in the parts list. Items w/o description don't relate to wwan cards also.
So, select the card you need, purchase it and install yourself.
Delete s/n in your post for the security reason.
