I have had the same problem with P1 Gen2.   The way I end up recovering the ports is

by running the firmware update when it happens (n2otl06w).   It is just a work around

while Lenovo finds a long time solution (hopefully).


If Lenovo wants to fix this issue on the P1, the problem can be reproduced by connecting a

usb-c hub (in my case OGeeM 7in1) and a 2.5HDD (not SSD) to the USB port.   The TB ports are

not able to drive the 2.5HDD (no external power supply to the hub).  They go to out to lunch and

never comeback.  The only way I found to bring the affected TB3 port(s) back online is by running

the firmware update.   It requires a reboot.
