After I reboot the Windows, I found the trackpoint scrolling had a problem. The problem is that cursor moves along when I scroll with clicking the middle button(Set to scroll). and still trackpad has no problem after changing Edge tap filtering to disabled

So it's the next day and I'm very happy with my machine. The touchpad seems to be working perfectly now. To be honest, that "edge tap filtering" is such a specific setting I'm not sure how noticeable it's function would be either way, so while I agree it still a workaround, I'm feeling I can now relax that at least it's not a hardware issue that requires the hassle of repair or replacement.
It would be in everybody's interest for Lenovo to update the drivers ASAP.

About a day. It certainly has something to do with egde filtering.
Would be very nice of Lenovo|Synaptics to fix the firmware.
This is really disappointing for such an expensive device.
I don't know a way to disable this broken feature on linux.

Thanks for reporting the possible fix. Certainly keep us updated on if it continues to function properly.
In other news, because I had already ordered a replacement before we found the "edge tap filtering" solution, I decided to still let it ship since Im curious to see if this separate machine might not have the same issue. It should be here tomorrow so I'll test it then and post here if I can recreate the issue there as well.
