I have a Thinkpad X1 Carbon (Gen3) Model 20BS touchscreen running Windows 7 64 bit. The battery is not charging -- it's in a perpetual state of "plugged in not charging" and even when plugged in, it’s losing appr 1 percent per day (down to 31%).
This has happened a few times over the past 3-4 months since I got the machine, but I've managed to find things that "fixed" it (at least temporarily):
- Resetting the power gauge worked once
- Changing the custom battery charge threshold worked a few times
- Plugging in the power cord at different stages of reboot seemed to fix it once (although not sure why / how)
Based on previous thread posts, I've uninstalled and reinstalled Power Manager and then tried to run Battery Gauge Reset, but to no avail. And the reset only appears to run for about 30 sec before the system tray icon switches back to normal.
Thanks in advance.
