My Lenovo Companion app as well as the Lenovo driver page shows an available BIOS Update (22.214.171.124) for my X1 Carbon 5th Thinkpad but if I try to install it, it fails to download the file.. What can I do?

Thanks for the quick reply!
Yes I am talking about my ThinkPad X1 Carbon 5th Gen and I already have the BIOS version 1.20 installed.
But I am talking about a newer update which shows up in my Lenovo System Update Utility as well as on your driver download website (have a look to the screenshot). As you can see there is a version (1.21) available.
If I try to download it, it fails with the error message "1 paket was not downloaded". (Have a look at the next screen)
I am asking this because I need the Microcode fix for the Intel Skylake/Kabylake Hyperthreading issue which is described here: http://www.tomshardware.com/news/hyperthreading-kaby-lake-skylake-skylake-x,34876.html
Do you have any suggestions?

I believe you have tried both with Lenovo Companion & Lenovo System Update app. But the latest release is not available for download in Lenovo support page currently.

Yes, I tried it with both of them without success.
Okay, I understand. But can we expect a new update soon?
Yes, I guess we have to wait for the latest release from Lenovo which can resolve your issue.

They seem to have skipped 1.21 and gone directly to 1.22.
