Just been using my new X1 Carbon 2019 for few days so far, and found that when my headphone is pluged in, the sound is both out from computer and the headphone at the same time.
Is there a issue with my laptop please? Shouldn't the laptop auto detect the device and play from the correct channel?
A bit sad about the experience I had and would like to fix this issue asap.

Let's try the steps below:
1. Right click on Volume Icon on the Taskbar, and select Sounds.
2. Under Playback Tab, click on Speaker and set it to default. Make sure that the headphone is unplugged before doing so.
3. Select Apply.
