Hi, I am facing a very strange issue if my X1 carbon 20A7 when connected with Battery; I am not able to start my system but if I remove the battery connection from board i can start with AC power on. I have tried reset also it does not work. Can anyone help? Thanks in Advance.

There is a Bottom Cover Tamper Detection feature. Each time the base cover is removed, you have to attach to AC to boot, with battery installed or not.

Hope this helps.

No that's not how tamper thing works, by default damper switch is disabled inside bios but if you etc have a bios pass and so and enable tamper thingy it will then block user from being able to boot the laptop since it will throw a alert on the screen saying "Tamper Alert back cover opened" or something like that and that box won't disappear untill back cover is back inplace then it will boot again as normal, About your question is try pressing reset button and then connect ac to power it on then disconnect ac that should bring battery back to life.
