Hi, I ordered an X1 Carbon 6th gen custom build. I added 500 nit screen.
Order placed May 30th.
Original estimated shipping date June 8th.
After 4 delays and counting,
Estimated shipping date is July 16th.
I spoke to 4 customer service reps, all of whom made false promises to me and were just concerned with their rating at the end of the call.
As a seasoned Lenovo customer. I am very disappointed.
Edit: I am contemplating cancelling my order.

You might try Googling the model number (as long as it isn't a CTO model) and see if there are any aftermarket suppliers that have one in stock. I bought my new X280 from PC Nation.
The document below lists the features of each of the current models of the ThinkPad line. Maybe you will find what you are looking for there.

I had the same long shipping estimate, so I canceled my order and ordered a brand new unit from the Lenovo Outlet. I found the same spec x1 6th gen I wanted (500 nit dolby vision display), it shipped the day after I ordered. The 20KHCT01WW-******** is black. When it says New, they are unopened orders that were canceled before shipping.
Granted, my unit had an issue while win10 updating, so make sure you update BIOS before you do any win10 updates. Seems to be a problem many are having.
