Thinkpad X1 Extreme, USB-C monitor not working

Hi,

So I have U2515H monitors connected with USB-C to HDMI cable, HDMI on monitor end, USB-C on X1 Extreme (windows 10)

Another monitor is straight HDMI to HDMI.

Same monitor with same cable is working with another computer with Linux and USB-C and with Phones over USB-C, no problems.

With X1 Extreme, It only Blinks windows Desktop for a Second and then Its gone no signal..

I did a full "factory reset", made lenovos official recovery USB, and reinstalled everything, USB-C my monitor with USB-C > HDMI cable and all was working when it first booted up, then Windows wanted to update, and after Windows update, it's not working anymore. It only blinks for a second. One thing I noticed that when I plugged it in, IN device manager I saw both monitors for a moment before USB-C monitor disappeared. They had both (HDMI1) at the end of device name, Maybe there is an conflict?, But then Again even if I disconnect HDMI to HDMI monitor, it's not working.

Re: Thinkpad X1 Extreme, USB-C monitor not working

Hi meelishy! Welcome to our forums community. May we know what is the current OS version on your laptop? Just to make sure that all the drivers are up to date, run the update through the Think Vantage app. Install all available updates then check if the issue persist.
