Thinkpad X1 Extreme Upgrade

Hello .....

I plan to buy a Thinkpad X1 Extreme.... and upgrade the SSD and memory later... Can i do that?

I did it with my actual thinkpad T450S... i bought with 4 Gb Ram, 1 Hdd ... and add 8 Gb Ram and a M2 SSD by myself...

Thanks

Re: Thinkpad X1 Extreme Upgrade

Good day.

Please see page 51 of the HMM: https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/mobiles_pdf/x1p1_x1_extreme_hmm_en.pdf

Memory modules and SSDs are listed as CRUs. Looks like only the bottom cover needs to be removed to access them.

Hope this helps a bit.

Regards.

Please look here before you buy. All depending on how you will use the laptop.
