Thinkpad X1 Extreme Will it recognize a 2tb ssd?

I have a thinkpad X1 Extreme with the i78850h, 32gb ram and 1tb storage(Samsung MZVLB1T0HALR-000lL7). I'm thinking about purchasing the Samsung 970 Evo 2tb pcie nvme sdd to replace the 1tb the system came with, but I'm wondering if 1tb is the maximum the system will recognize or will it be able to recognize a 2tb ssd?

Thank you,

Clay

It will work fine.  No maximum.

Re: Thinkpad X1 Extreme Will it recognize a 2tb ssd?

One thing to check is if there are chips on both sides of the PCB. I have read it may be tricky to get it to fit with chips on both sides.
