Thinkpad X1 Yoga 2nd Gen Stylus/Touchscreen Interaction

Hi,

I am new to using both a touchscreen and stylus on a laptop.  I bought this model with the theory of being able to easily annotate PDFs.  However I have found no matter the software that the stylus/software is rendered un-usable as my hand, on the large 14" screen constantly interferes when trying to use the stylus.

Any suggestions please?  Lenovo "Technical" support were anything but.

Thank you

Search for stylus settings.

Settings/devices/Pen & windows ink

turn on "ignore touch input when I'm using my pan"

Re: Thinkpad X1 Yoga 2nd Gen Stylus/Touchscreen Interaction

Thanks richk,

I should have said when trying to resolve the situation I found that setting and turned it on but it doesn't appear to help.  When trying to write on/annotate pdfs my hand is still constantly interfering (and obviously I can't use the stylus to any effect without my hand resting on the screen).

See attached image to confirm I've selected the option I assume you meant.

Thanks - any other suggestions?

Yes.  That's right.  I'm not an expert.  I'm a keyboard/mouse user.  Maybe someone else has another idea?
