Hello,
I got a new X1 Yoga in my hands. Its a nice notebook. Using the Pen makes fun and so on.
But there is one problem. After reboot or shutdown/and boot the X1 stucks sometimes. I can see the Lenovo Logo, the black background and the message "to interrupt normal startup, press enter". If I press "enter" nothing happens. I can use CTRL-ALT-DEL to "reboot" to the same stuck behavior. Only the Power button helps.
The designated user won't be lucky about theat problem.

Do you have the latest BIOS? It sounds like something is timing out. How long to you let it sit before hitting the button?

I forgot to mention --> BIOS is the latest installed (also any other update)
"How long to you let it sit before hitting the button?" --> I tried to wait for the boot for more than 15 minutes, but ...

That should be plenty. I was thinking 2 minutes. Look in the event log for any timeouts. Try turning off Rapid Boot.
Look in control panel/power options. select "choose what power button does". Click "change settings that are unavailable". Look under shutdown settings
