I installed the most recent windows 10 x64 synaptic driver this morning here on the lenovo site. The new driver installed fine, but then after I went to reboot my system, the touchscreen was not working.
I tried installing the march 1st Touchscreen patch from the same page, and it didnt fix it.
Under the device manager I have located the Touchscreen, it is showing up under Human Interface Devices, as an unrecognized USB input device. In the properties window, listed under Events, it lists the "Device onfigured (null)". After trying to install synaptics again later on, I get "Device not migrated", then "Device configured (input.inf)", and finally "Device not startd (HidUsb)".
I don't have a wacom stylus, just the standard one that came with the device.
Any help resolving this would be much appreciated.

After rebooting the problem is back again, still a usb issue, visible in device manager.
I rolled back to a backup, which is fine, but I found that by updating synaptics I continue to get this problem after my next reboot. I would like to update the drivers though. I also found by upgrading to the latest intel hd graphics driver would cause my next boot to not have the touchscreen working either.

I have this problem.
One day only the pen worked.
And then the touch malfunctioned.
After this only 2touch recognized as the control panel shows.
Now not recognized at all.
I have reinstalled the window10 again deleting all SSD.
But still the Wacom does not recognized by the Window.
This high priced laptop with no solution until now?

Its a painful issue. I still get it, I was afflicted all weekend by it, and now its working again, temporarily. I havent changed anything. Driver updates only make it worse.
