Thinkpad X230T - damaged by connecting to car power.

2020-06-30, 21:22 PM
Hello everyone, Thinkpad X230T switched off and doesn’t turn on anymore, after connecting to the car power via adapter 41R4538. 41R4538 output - 20V, as it is supposed. The question is what could be the cause of damaging the laptop?! Nothing happens connecting to power outlet. The case gets heats up near express card when the battery is installed. It suggests, that power controller is burned (it is only guess, as it’s located where heat comes out). Any advice and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
