Hello!
I was inquiring into buying a Lenovo X260, and one of the main reasons I was interested was because it has a SIM card slot. I have Project Fi, and was interested in using a data only SIM card for the laptop. Project Fi is compatable with Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular networks, and I wanted to ask if anyone had any experience using the sim card slot with any of these networks or perhaps even a Project Fi sim. I do not want to buy the laptop to find out the sim card does not work. Any advice would be extremely helpful.

I have a T460s, but I think they use the same wireless card (Sierra EM7455). I have been unable to get the card working with a Fi data-only SIM or indeed any Fi SIM of any sort. It does work on Verizon (USA) and Rogers (Canada). If you plug in a Fi SIM then the system simply fails to acknowledge that there is a SIM card inserted. This happens on both Windows and Linux. I haven't found the cause of the error so far.
