I’ve just installed XP professional on a X201 to run a particular type of car diagnostics software. On startup it presents a screen saying, as below. It then proceeds to startup as normal, although not currently getting the wifi to work.
Bios version 1.39
Initializing Intel (R) Boot Agent GE v1.3.51
PXE-E85: The LAN adapter’s NVM configuration is corrupted or has not been initialised. The Boot Agent cannot continue._
What is this error and how do I diagnose and fix? Thanks

Have you solved the problem? Same problem. I understand that my laptop is an old one but it is still of great help for me with it's sensor display. I reinstalled windows to W10 Pro but it was of no help.
