I have recently update my Thinkpad x230 to windows 10, the problem is that the two usb 3 ports are not working. When i am plugging a flash drive i can see the led turning on but nothing else happens. The flash drive works vell in usb 2 port. Is it a drivers problem?

Most likely it is a driver problem, so download and install the latest Intel Chipset and Management Engine Drivers from http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/thinkpad-x-series-laptops/thinkpad-x23... or install and run the ThinkVantage System Update utility here: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/documents/tvsu-update
Note: I would avoid the BIOS update unless all else fails, and if so, be sure to do it separately from all other updates as is recommended. BIOS updates can be tricky, and can sometimes turn your laptop into a brick (although rarely), so back up your important data first, and be sure to read the readme.txt file thoroughly before upgrading the BIOS.

Thanks for the reply, just did what you suggested and did not solve my problem. Is there any other thing that i can try? I must tell that BIOS recognize every flash drive i plug into usb3 the problems starts while i am at windows. Thanks
