Thinkpad x250 bios 5 beeps (2 short and 3 short)

Hello.  I'm update bios 1.25 on my thinkpad x250 and after reboot it don't start again. Thinkpad shutdown and sleep. When i press power on,  it beeps 2 short and 3 short ones.  What the problem?

Hi there,

Welcome to Lenovo Community!

As I understand that you are facing issue with your x250 after BIOS update. 

Usually 5 short beep means Systemboard is dead, but check this thread once this might help you.

Did you already try to insert the end of a straightened paper clip into the emergency reset hole on the bottom?

Had same issue and after reseach was going to remove and disconnect internal batteries and press power button to discharge and reset bios.  Left laptop in attache for 2-3hrs and it was very hot--on button green light was off and laptop must of gone into battery depletion mode... anyhow did not disconnect batteries since it would not turn on at all. Connected to AC cord and got quick bios error message, it rebooted and went straight to win10 login screen--nice.

Did continue with updates and this time bios update was done without any other updates, all ok now.  Thinkpads are awesome laptops, have done hundreads of bios updates, never one like this. Good thing it worked out and did not have to brick mb to depot support.
