Unable to determine warranty

I've been getting this warning for weeks now. It used to work just fine. Is there anyway to fix it or get rid of the warning ?

 

Everything is up to date as far as I can tell .

I have the same problem with a twist although warranty registers in metro mode and not desk top mode

I don't use (and hate with a passion) Metro mode. It's like a seriously dumbed down system that I wish I could remove and convey to a recycle bin ....

 

I have uninstalled as much as possible from the Metro desktop - but can't link the presentation of the issue with the removal of those 'apps'
