I have a wierd problem with my two weeks old X270, it was working all well with the Win 10 pro signature edition, suddenly it won't boot and won't reset or restore, I had to reinstall the Win 10 pro OS non OEM version. All well with this except for Display driver is Microsoft Basic Display Adapter and whenever I try to update the driver laptop just shutsdown without any error or anything as if a desktop lost power connection, all hardware diags run ok, tried reinstalling the OS without any updates it's still the same

Sorry I didn't mention it early, but with the Lenovo System update or Windows update the system just shuts down and doesn't boot again, till I login to safe mode and set the driver to Microsoft basic display adapter
Ok have you tried to install the drivers from Intel and checked.

Tried drivers from Lenovo, Microsoft and Intel, it is the same issue, case opened with Lenovo, strangely they suspected something might be wrong with hard disk and the issue still exists, since the hard disk is replaced I have tried to load the OS from Lenovo recovery USB and the laptop doesn't boot anymore as it keeps trying to install the display drivers and keeps rebooting
