Re: Unexpected Restart Thinkpad X1 Extreme

2019-07-12, 6:38 AM

So, until now, i didn't expiered any more "unexpected" restarts. So disabling the restart option may be a momentary* solution that calms one's nerves.

Disable Automatic restart option (Solution 12)

https://windowsreport.com/random-restart-windows-10/#12

My next task then will be issuing the super anoying "keyboard entryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy lock up (just like this, a perrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrfect example)" or how one ever should call that. But this I will post an other time on a new thread.

I sent my laptop to Lenovo Service shortly after my initial post in February. I had no more problems since I got it back so I am convinced that the MB was the main problem. I tried a lot of different things (basically everything that you can find on the internt - but nothing helped). My MB was changed free of costs since my laptop was brand new. I don't think that Lenovo would change the component just for fun. ;)

Cheers
