last week I got my new ThinkPad X1 Extreme. Unfortunately it sometimes restarts without any notification. The screen will turn black and then the Lenovo sign appears again and the Laptop will boot normal. Does anyone know this problem?

sounds like overheating. Make sure you have the latest BIOS

Thanks for your message.
I have all the new updates installed.
I found some entries in my Event Viewer. Some of them I was able to get rid off and the problem seemd to be fixed. However, today it happened again. The entry which I found right after the unexpected restart was:
Event ID 10016 - The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID.
Does anyone know this error and might it be related to my problem.
Thanks in advance

Another thing that just happened is that the laptop restarts instead of shutting down. The event found in the Event Viewer is the same as mentioned before:
The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
to the user NT AUTHORITY\LOCAL SERVICE SID (S-1-5-19) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.
Event ID 10016

You really can safely ignore DCOM errors. They are one of windows most notorious errors but do not usually cause any problems.
You can read about them here. There are fixes all over the internet to edit permissions but that in itself can cause problems with windows.

I saw this website already.
Doesn't help me though
I chcked all updates and did all the troubleshooting that windows offers me.
Any other ideas?
