Aryeh Goretsky did you have any issues to solve ?
I just put 16 in and all good but I cannot suspend now. It simply will not come back from suspend I have to crash it and reboot.
I run Arch Linux as an OS

Hello,
I did not have any issues, but I don't use suspend, hibernation or sleep technologies; I just turn the computer off when it is not in use. You may want to try disabling the suspend functionality and then re-enabling it to see if that makes any difference. Unfortunately, I'm not particularly familiar with how to do that under Arch Linux.

Thanks Aryeh
I use the command line for suspend or hibernate but even fn + F4 does not work.
It might be a firmware issue but I have not done a bios upgrade before so will look into that possibility.
Do you have any tips for doing that ?

Hello,
The Linux section may be the best place to ask about using the ThinkPad X120e with Arch Linux: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Linux-Discussion/bd-p/Special_Interest_Linux.
For the BIOS upgrade, I would suggest resetting the BIOS/UEFI firmware back to its default values, then performing the BIOS update. Afterwards, you can add back any customizations you made to the settings.
