Hi, I have checked by BELARC there are two memory slots in my X270. Currently I have 1 memory card (1 x 8GB) installed, can I use the second slot to increase the RAM with another 8GB memory card ? I´ve heard that couldn´t do that, instead I should buy a 16GB card to replace the current one.
Anybody can I help me ?

Hello and welcome,
According to the base spec your laptop has a single RAM slot. Perhaps Belarc is reporting what the chipset could support, but according to this there's no 2nd slot.

You can only add 1x SO-DIMM RAM module with is currently limited to 16GB in capacity.
Some laptops come with soldered RAM such as the ThinkPad T480s which has 8GB and allows 1x 16GB = 24GB total usable RAM, but because you cannot use 2x identical RAM, you will not be able to provide the Intel HD 520/620 graphics card with Dual Channel Mode for higher frame rates and slightly higher graphical performance.
I generally believe solvered RAM is not a good idea unless you can but it pre-configured with 2x 16GB.
