Yes. After much effort, many phone calls, and nearly two months I finally received a replacement laptop. One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had.

Hey! My laptop seems to be also affected by this issue. I checked it as it was mentioned on the top post, and the result was AFFECTED. I have been trying to contact the customer support here in France but without luck. How should I proceed? When I choose the option to submit a service request it askes me to also give the address of the service center. I don't know which of these centers I should choose. 

I live in Valbonne, France. Moved here a couple of days ago. 

How I should proceed now?

I avoided getting the recall done, as I didn't want to be without it for an extended time. Big mistake. Yesterday, I took it out of my bag and within a few second heard a sizzling sound. There was also a little smoke that smelled lke noting I have ever smelled before. I ran outside and set it on the driveway. A couple hour later, I brought it in and tried turning it on, but it cam up with a "critical low battery" mesage. It boots fine with the charger attached, but will not charge past 1%. I hope this recall is still active.

I'm sorry to read of your experience.

If this were my machine, I would refrain from plugging it in or powering it up in any way until it is fully inspected.
