Hi all, I have a Thinkpad x200s that I rescued from the local skip, only problem being no battery. I have searched for replacement batteries, but there is conflicting information on the battery I need.
Can anyone please tell me the correct battery and its code/serial number so that I can order one.
Also is the 9 cell variant worth the extra price?
Thank you for any answers and advice given.

As far as "worth the price", there is no standard answer. If you use it mostly plugged in, the answer is no. Batteries are 4-cell, 6-cell and 9 cell. The capacity is linear, in other words, 50% more cells means 50% more run time.

Thanks for the replies. Excuse my ignorance but what does MTM in your reply mean?
Here MTM refers to Machine Type Model.
