When I try to connect my Xperia Z to Lenovo X1, using Bluetooth, I have 9 failures in 10. After updating the Bluetooth software to version 18.104.22.1680 (http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS029104), I can see 5 devices with no drivers found under Device Manager.
Is there any other download I missed?
Thank you very much,

Could you possibly take a screenshot of your Bluetooth devices in Device Manager so that we can see what is going on in your system and better provide assistance? You can use Snipping Tool to easily do this and save the screenshot as an image, which you can then post here. Also, can you post your machine type and model? This can be found on the underside of the machine in the format XXXX-XXX. Lastly, what operating system are your running?
Thanks in advance,

Hi again, marcellus26
I did some research and was able to find other threads of people having similar issues, particularly when trying to connect a mobile device to their computer. I found a solution that has helped several other people on Microsoft Answers, as seen here. The highest rated response by user Ashley_colaco may help you. There are quite a few steps involved, but it is a simple process overall. In essence, you will need to download the Windows Mobile Device Center. Following the download, you will need to update the driver software for one of the Bluetooth Peripheral Devices and manually install the drivers from the Windows Mobile Device Center into the Bluetooth Peripheral Device. It may seem a bit complicated, but the user on the forums has it all broken down. It has helped others, and it may help your issue as well. Follow the steps and give it a try.
Best of luck. Let me know how it goes,

Thank you one more time, Adam.
I followed the instructions and, now, my Device Manager shows as follows:
Just to in case, I checked the permissions for BT devices:
But, yet, I can send and receive from and to another BT phone, but from the X1, I can just send images to Xperia Z. From the Xperia Z I can not send nothing... :-(

Have u tried simply downloading the latest drivers directly from Broadcom.
Admittedly I have not tried this on an X1 but I have done this on a number of other Thinkpad models and it has always worked very well for me.

Hi again, marcellus
Have you tried uninstalling the current Bluetooth driver and installing an older version? If your machine had this compatibility in the past, then there could be an issue with this latest driver that you have installed. I would recommend uninstalling the one you have installed currently through Device Manager and then installing an older version here. Also, what is the error you get when you try to send things from your mobile phone to your X1?
Thanks in advance,
