X1 Carbon 1st Gen doesn't start

Hello,

I have a Lenovo X1 Carbon (1st Gen). Using on a table without moving it starts always, but after moving 5 out of 10 times it only start when I reset it with the button at the bottom of the laptop. I have replaced the CMOS battery and I have reinstalled it (Windows 10 64 bit), originally it came out with Windows 8. After the CMOS battery change, but before the system reinstall have begun the problems.

Could you help me?

Thanks

Peter

Re: X1 Carbon 1st Gen doesn't start

It sounds like there is a bad connection or a short inside that is affected by movement.  I would  examine the ribbon cable connections along the long edges of the motherboard and make sure the cables are straight, the notches are matched up and the latches are latched
