X1 Carbon 2017 browsing performance problem

Hello,

I got my new thinkpad x1 carbon 1 month ago and since it constantly has been slow on internet browsing. For example, it's almost impossible to use the Inbox by Google webmail because it's too slow. I have an Intel Core i7 - 7500U with 16Go RAM and 512Go SSD.

I don't know why my thinkpad is so sluggish when browsing the web. I have tried different web browsers (Edge, Chrome and Firefox) and it doesn't seem to make any difference. I'm on the "normal" power plan so the power limitation should not be very high. But when I plug my laptop and chose the performance mode, all the slow-down disappear. I have made all the updates that the Lenovo Companion told me to do.

Sometimes the OS seems slow too but it's more rare. I don't know what to do at this point. Do you guys have any ideas ?

Thanks in advance.

Re: X1 Carbon 2017 browsing performance problem

There's a specific setting for wireless performance.

Get into the advance power options for your power profile, and set wireless power saving to max performance:

If you're on Windows 10, you might have to expose this option first:
