X1 Carbon 2nd gen - I cannot install Intel Collaborative Processor Performance Control

2014-10-08, 7:55 AM

I purchased my X1C2 second hand, it came with no operating system so I installed Windows 8.1 Pro with a MSDN iso.

Now I have all drivers installed except Intel CPPC. When I try to install it it says: "Your computer does not meet the minimum requirements to install this".

I used devmanview to look for 'ACPI\INT340F' according to the .INF files of the driver. But apparently my X1C2 does not have it.

Device Manager has no unknown devices or exclamation points, everything appears to be working correctly.

Why is this driver available for the X1C2? Am I missing a required driver to install this?

Kind regards,

Jonas Hendrickx
