X1 Carbon 3444 won't power on

2017-07-17, 21:42 PM

My X1 Carbon doesn't seem to want to power on after I turned it off yesterday. When the AC adapter is plugged in, the power button lights up for a split second, and the light right next to the AC plug stays lit as long as it's plugged in. No other lights seem to turn on.

I've tried using the battery reset button on the reverse side (held it for up to 30 secs), opening it up and disconnecting and reconnecting both the main battery and the CMOS battery, but no change. Any other ideas? Or is it likely to be a fried motherboard?
