The computer has turned on again after ~5hours charging, however it still restarting instead of shutting down.
My computer 3rd gen restarts every time I try to shutdown or sleep - even with different operational systems.
I suppose that is a problem with the power button, power button board or BIOS.
- Has someone experienced a similar problem?
*X1 Carbon 3rd gen does not power on after disabling built-in battery*
Hi, unfortunately I am experiencing the following problem:
- X1 Carbon 3rd Gen doesn't power on, only blinks light when plugging the AC.
Initially, my X1 Carbon 3rd gen started resetting every time I tried to shutdown - even with different operational systems. I suppose that is a problem with the power button or power button board.
For handling this problem, I started disabling the built-in battery on BIOS before going to bed. However, now the computer does not start anymore and only blinks lights when AC is plugged in.
I have tried clicking with a paperclip the reset button but it did not help.
- Does anyone have any suggestion?
Thanks a lot,,
